Didn't Mean to be Trendy

In case I was having any qualms about my daughter's name--which I wasn't--along comes this article to reassure me.

As you know well by now, her name is Izumi (ee-zoo-mee). Let's all say it together!

Great article! What a great thing to pass on to your kids-- an affirmation of their heritage and culture. I just love that you gave them both names that reflect your culture.

Now if only I could get Brad to agree to "Eoghan" for our hypothetical unconceived son and "Siobhan" for our hypothetical unconceived daughter... they're pronounced Owen and Shavon and are Irish, like me. Hmm.
