Joy First

All the world's a stage....
I think Shakespeare said that and I have no idea what he meant. But it's what I thought of when I saw my girls "performing" with utter abandon today.  They were in a space in the middle of Landmark Tower, Yokohama.  They found a star pattern in the tile on the floor, it must have beckoned them to jump on and dance.  So they did.
Japanese culture doesn't encourage recklessness or abandonment, but when it comes to expressing the joy of the moment, I and perhaps this whole country have something to learn from my babies.
