Improving Sushi
Do you like sushi? I'd like to think that I do but after reading this article from the NY Times, I'm not so sure that I've actually had a chance to experience it properly. Trying what the author suggests sounds like a lot of fun, so if anyone wants to join me, let's go! Give me a week or two of lead time so I can get a babysitter, though...

Ah, Jamie, I am so with you. If I'm around when your little crew wants to go adventuring, I'm in. It was Jane Rhee who introduced me to sushi at a lovely restaurant near the Carson Pirie Scott at Lake St in Winnetka. I'm pretty sure the restaurant is Korean-run, but that's probably true for 80% of the sushi restaurants in Chicago! At any rate, I've never turned back.
